Well to put it simply, If there is a disaster, you will have the ability to recover from it without losing data (hopefully)<br><br>Here is something that happened to me recently because I did not make backups;<br><br><i>Updating to the latest version of the starter kit I've been using for PAO seems to have broken all my scripts and seems to be crashing my game all the time, even though I've deleted the incompatible scripts. What I am going to have to do is to re-write the parts that were affected via starting a new game and copying the unaffected old content to the new game...<br><br>This will take some time, as I have some very large areas and tonnes of events.</i><br><br>I will learn from this experience...
