Election Time!

I don't normally get involved with Politics as a rule, but on Saturday it's election time! Get down to your local polling place before 5pm and make your vote count. Do not forget to vote, unless you really want to give the government $50 of your money...

No matter who we vote for, Liberal or Labor, I suspect that we'll get screwed in oh-so-many ways, Climate Change, Hospitals, Education, etc...

No matter what, I'll be voting for the greens, as they actually plan to do something reasonable about climate change, something that isn't going to make the world uninhabitable for the next 50000 years...

Nuclear power isn't the answer, If something goes wrong, the problem won't go away for 50000 years, and do we want that to happen? honestly?

I don't know about others, but I am sick of all this advertising crap I keep getting from these MP's, so the sooner this whole thing is over, the better...

News: Nuchaleft's busy 10 week final term

Yeah, I'm pretty busy at the moment and will be pretty busy for the next 10 weeks, I'm up to my ears in my assignment work, I should (hopefully) finish it by the end of this last term....

I've temporarily taken myself of the internet for the time being, while I switch to a new ISP (I'm sending this from college, I hope I'm allowed to do this - nevermind ) and catch up with some bills that I've been receiving lately...

I'm still working on the programs and games that I've been working on... I've been rewriting parts of one of my programs to use pictures rather than text and reconfiguring the interface to look nicer. However it's grown to a point where uploading it to the CVS repository could be a big problem. I'm thinking of maybe only adding one project to CVS and leaving the others out as they have hundreds of resource files....

A Tragic Day...

Oh no, Steve Irwin... Dead while shooting a documentary? No that can't be! I won't deny that I didn't think it would happen, but still it's a shock.

On a brighter note, Due to the current fuel consumption rate the fuel prices by 2010 will be $250 at the bowser by my calculations. The worlds oil reserves will dry up by 2020 and we will all be riding bikes, or cars fueled with beer or biomass or natural gas... Pretty freaky...
