I could not have said better myself:
In the beginning MindArk created Project Entropia, and it was good. Then MindArk nerfed our skills and we played harder to achieve our successes. Then MindArk said "let there be Entropia Universe" and we played under a new name. And so MindArk nerfed our weapons and we were displeased but loyal. Now, when MindArk massively nerfs everything and tells us to put our weapons and skill aside, to go forth and colour and texturize our clothes, are we to do so despite it being an abomination to what was ONCE good?!?

I've Quit Entropia Universe (No Biggie)

Dear readers, I've quit Entropia Universe, but for very different reasons than what others have quit for...

I have decided this based on past experiences. For now I will just be concentrating on games which don't consume too much of my bandwidth, with a 3gb limit on wireless broadband, the 'game' is shizenhousen in that regard.

That combined with the fact that I cannot get cable broadband in my area due to a pair gain system (which the telephone company (Telstra) refuses to do anything about, hell, they're even refusing to fix my landline... bastards) means that playing this game is... not a pleasurable experience come time for the bill

I'll continue to play Neocron, It's buggy, But what the heck? It's time for my dose of Neocrack... If you'll excuse me...

During these last two years I have deposit an amount of money equal to the amount (approximately) of 5000 euros. Now this is a fairly serious amount of money for a employee in Greece (where I live), if you take under consideration that most people here don’t make more than 1k per month.
So the question is this: will I ever get the chance to feel like the so called Uber players feel in a hunt?
Will I ever be able to run around in dome 4 of the CP with an Angel Armor, mod FAP, and a DOA (any DOA for that matter!)?
I can accept that times come and go. It’s like in the States when the first immigrants got there. They had the opportunity to take part in land grabs and get vast areas to use for their cattle. Now if a person would go to the States not only he can do anything remotely similar to that, but in some cases he can’t even get a Visa!
Times change and I can accept that.
But what if once in a while one would loot a Mod Fap? How good would he feel now? Knowing the full potential of a tool like that.
All I am saying is that it would be nice to get once in a while a drop like that. It definitely makes one hope for more.
Finally the bug thing on the title goes to a personal thought I had I few days ago.
It’s something like… 5 years ago I was in England for a whole year doing absolutely nothing (well playing Championship Manager most of the time), if only I had started playing then, where would I be now in terms of the game? What armor would I be wearing? What kind of weapon would I be using? What would my skill look like to another player’s eyes when I pressed the “K” button on the keyboard?

I found out about Entropia 5 years ago, but did nothing as I didn't have the Internet till Feb this year. That's 5 years of getting my fluffing phone company to fix the phone line so I can get an ADSL connection... Which they haven't, I'm still waiting Telstra...

I could kick myself. May not have even wasted so much money if I had joined Entropia Universe earlier... Oh well... Nevermind...

The Entropia Universe End User License Agreement (EULA) will be updated in conjunction with the coming release of Version Update 9.1.

We kindly ask you to pay particular attention to the date when accepting the EULA following Version Update 9.1 as this will indicate when the update has been completed.

Entropia Universe Report #5 - Graduation & Other Things

Well it's time for the fifth report of my experiences in the virtual world of Calypso, within the Entropia Universe. This report will also go over my experiences since my last update.

Well I finally graduated, It's only taken me 8 months, filled with financial setbacks and other things, but yeah... Well technically my mentor Alexandros Kingsize Phenomenon has to claim the gift, but yeah, I've achieved 2000 in rifle and therefore completed the first step.

Only a few hours before graduation, I got a global that helped me toward my graduation goal... 51 ped Merp...

There were a few setbacks, but I managed to rise above them and achieve this goal. The next goal is to unlock RDA... But I'm back at college so it might have to wait till after I finish...
Might do some sweating though, I'm getting good at it

Uploaded my new stats to entropedia.info, though I need to upload again, since it failed.
Attended the soc birthday bash event
Voted on the new soc General
Updated my global count, So far: 15 team globals and 2 solo globals, making a total of 17 globals.

The Knights of Calypso First Birthday!

Woo-hoo! The Knights of Calypso turned 1 years old today! But our "Big Bash" event on Club Neverdie will be on the 17th November 2007 at 23:00 MA Time. All TKoC members are invited to attend the event, but they MUST purchase a ticket from Saorise and register at the dome 1-5 event marker on Club Neverdie.

To my fellow Knights, I wish you all a happy birthday, may the society continue for many years to come.

Edit: Someone who was an ex-soc member won the "Big Bash" event on CND, much to my dismay, oh well, there's always next year... But I don't even know if I will be playing then...

First SOLO Global!

I was sure surprised when I got my first SOLO global on a Caudatergus Provider yesterday. I never expected it to happen at all. I got a lot of oils, ammo and one 17.55 PED ESI. The ESI is currently on auction.

Entropia Universe Report #4

Hello all, it's been a little bit of time since my last post, so I believe it's time for another post

News since I last posted in my blog about this game, in point form;

I now am the proud owner of a 75% complete set of shogun armour. I just need the feet and face to complete it. I also need the feet for my Ghost.
I have started to use the Breer M3a (L) / Riker UL1 (L) as my main skilling rifle.
I am buying a Marber Bravo-Type Plasma Annihilator as a tagging weapon, this should be useful for tagging bots and the like.
I have a Bjornir scope, all I need now is 2 Abrer laser sights. I may upgrade the scope type at a later date.
I am planning to use a EMT Kit 2300 for healing, though I may use a EMT Kit 2350. Though I should use one or more of those limited Vivo things.
I am now the proud owner of a rancher hat, It needs coloring though. I will colour it myself at a later date.
I need 574 more rifle skill points to graduate. Currently my rifle skill is 1426.
I have taken another disciple, though I might take another one at some point. I have updated my mentorship recruitment thread on Entropia Forum to include some new rules and regulations.
I will be attending my societies (The Knights of Calypso) first birthday on Club Neverdie.
I will be representing Australia in the World of Firepower event starting in February 2008.
I plan on buying an unlimited weapon at some point for WoF 2008. Most likely a A-3 Justifier MKII...
I still do not like scammers. I will not abide scammers in any way, shape or form.

Possibly Quitting Entropia Universe

Dear Readers,

I cannot believe it's come to this, but I am considering quitting Entropia Universe. The current climate in the game is really unfair to the participants. MindArk have once again removed the 'fun' from the game...

I don't know what I am going to do with all that stuff I've collected... I wouldn't get much if I sold all my stuff and withdrew...

This will be my last post on the topic of entropia for a while, as I go back to TAFE next week...
